Hi Gail I also hear that a solution of 1:5 Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to water is an option and it doesn't damage the frames. Does 70% alcohol not damage certain frame materials? The UV light seems like a good option (if I had one)
According to WHO soap destroys the virus. A safe and easy method is to have a bath of soapy water (eg dishwashing liquid preferably antimicrobial) and add a few MLS of bleach. Frames should then be dried with manual rubbing with a disposable towel before replacing on displays. Ideally, this would be an ultrasound bath as the soap will then be pushed through difficult areas such as hinges. Please note that frame display cases themselves also require frequent cleaning as Px's touch them.
We are using a combination of 70% sanitizer, UV light, ultrasonic bath.
